For over thirty years Corfilac has focused its activity on applied research serving the Sicilian territory. The primary objective of the Sector is to focus attention on the needs of those employed in the livestock and agri-food sectors, implementing innovative research protocols to improve production and quality standards.

It also takes care of participating in national and international research calls for the raising of funds necessary for in-depth research and maintains scientific collaboration relationships with Italian and foreign universities and institutes with which to discuss to achieve the objectives.
