EARTH ACADEMY

The Accademia della Terra, located inside the Cacioteca Regionale Siciliana of CoRFiLaC, was conceived as a laboratory where food is culture, evidence of a heritage of knowledge of people who live in respect of nature and protect its environmental, landscape and architectural ecosystem. In this context, food is genuine, rich in flavors and health properties, it is pleasure, it is communication, sharing of life.

Open to lovers of taste, it aims to be a permanent educational and gastronomic place for the study and education of the consumer.

At the Accademia della Terra, guided cultural tastings of historic national and international cheeses can be held in combination with wines, beers and preserves and training courses for Cheese Tasters, for counter staff of large-scale retail trade, on the techniques of cutting, presentation and conservation of cheeses.
