RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT LABORATORY

In addition to the laboratories dedicated to analysis services for clients, CoRFiLaC is equipped with a specialist analysis laboratory mainly aimed at research activities (antioxidants, fatty acids and flavours). Milk and cheeses are considered functional foods due to the presence of nutraceutical substances, such as conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), omega-3 and fat-soluble vitamins, which in addition to being important from a nutritional point of view, bring benefits to human health.

The Research and Development Laboratory is responsible for developing specific analytical methods useful for characterizing agri-food and dairy products and their related nutraceutical and aromatic properties.
