PROF.SSA CINZIA CAGGIA

Since 2018 he has been full professor of Agricultural Microbiology and leader of the agricultural microbiology group at the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Di3A) of the University of Catania. Graduated with honors in 1995 in Food Science and Technology at the University of Catania, in 2000, again at the same University, she obtained the title of PhD in Food Biotechnology, discussing the thesis “Genetic improvement of yeast strains of wine interest”, carried out, in part, at the Institute of Wine Biotechnology of the University of Stellenbosch, in South Africa.
